Dr. Bryan Shurigar, Ph.D

Dr. Shurigar is a trauma specialist trained in the top 3 evidence-based psychotherapies for trauma (Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, and Exposure Therapy). He is a published researcher on resilience and the neuroscience of trauma. After earning his PhD, he pursued a specialty fellowship in trauma psychology at a level one trauma center in New Orleans. He is well-versed in a variety of traumas, including sexual assault, gun violence, car accidents, domestic abuse, terrorism, and family dysfunction. Dr. Shurigar is happy to provide services for other problems for individuals who believe he may be a good fit for them.
